Gorvagh Community Centre Committee secured LEADER funding to replace the roof, install external doors and a window and all associated works at Gorvagh Community Centre. The old roof was in place since 1936 and leaks had developed. With LEADER funding the committee carried out the repairs which were vital for the sustainability of the building. Gorvagh Community Centre can now continue to be the heart of the community-a focal point for young and old to socialise, learn new skills, access information and enjoy community events.
