With LEADER funding Eslin Community Association purchased 80 banqueting chairs, cooker and fridge and carried out an upgrade to fire safety equipment in Eslin Community Centre. The fire safety equipment was brought up to the required standard. A fire safety Engineer had joined the committee and had highlighted the need for this equipment. Eslin is a small rural community and the promoter is a committed group of people from the locality. They have continuously developed the community centre and improved the facilities. The improvement of the fire equipment was vital to the centre and the purchase of additional seating and kitchen white goods will allow them to cater for larger groups of people. The provision of a small amount of money has made a significant impact on the centre and ensured its sustainability for the future.
