This project involved the development of a Sensory Garden within the grounds of St Patrick’s Hospital in Carrick on Shannon. The garden is accessible to all and is designed to stimulate the senses of touch, scent and hearing. The garden is one of its kind in Leitrim. The environment encourages wild life and the conservation of birds, butterflies and insects.
This Garden is available to the general public and a valuable resource for patients and visitors at the hospital.
