-New Extension at BeePark Resource Centre

The BeePark Resource Centre in Manorhamilton secured LEADER Funding for an extension and internal fit out of the new building as they required additional space. This extension has facilitated a number of disadvantaged or hard to reach groups as well as the wider community in the North Leitrim area. The fit out includes de-mountable partition walls to create rooms in the first floor extension, an automatic opening vent and new door to extension stairwell and also the demolition of existing kitchenette and office partitions in main building. A key part of this project is the development of a sensory room which will be available to the wider North Leitrim Community. The Bee Park are also developing a sports hub at the centre to develop facilities and programmes for the hard to reach youth who are not involved in any activity and the upgraded space will be used to deliver the necessary programmes to these people.
