The Organic Centre

The Organic Centre was established in 1995 as a non profit making company with charitable status. They are located on a 19 acres site in Rossinver, Co. Leitrim and operate from an ecologically designed building with a grass roof winning the An Taisce award for “most appropriate building located in the countryside”. The organisation carries out a wide range of business activities including an eco shop and café, visitor gardens, short training courses, community and school based programmes and a year long FETAC accredited course in organic horticulture. The Organic Centre has received LEADER funding for a number of elements including the development of a 5 year Management Development and Strategic Plan for the Centre, followed by marketing items, exterior upgrades, equipment for production & packaging of mail order products, IT Software and cash register.
