Ballinaglera GAA Club wanted to develop and maintain a supervised children’s play area adjacent to the existing football field and training facilities in the village. They received LEADER funding to develop this small playground. The aim was that children from the locality could have a safe environment in which to play not to mention the obvious health benefits the facility would provide. The community feels this is a great benefit to families and young people. The playground acts as a focal point for the young of the area and will for many generations to come.
