Ballinamore Website, Tourist Map and Activity Guide

Ballinamore & Ballyconnell Canal Communities Development Company Limited received funding for the development of a tourism website (www.ballinamore.ie), tourist map and activity guide for the Ballinamore area. These promotional materials serve to highlight the location of activities such as fishing, cycle trails, walks and other attractions in the area. This has highlighted and showcased Ballinamore as a desirable and exciting tourism destination and hub in County Leitrim and the wider region.

A spokesperson for the group stated “this funding has been a huge help in achieving the aims of this committee which was to promote Ballinamore as a base from which there is great tours to take, and also a great town to relocate to with great facilities for children and adults alike. Ballinamore now has tangible materials to promote its wealth of natural resources, nearby attractions and ideally central location for all visitors. Our website traffic has tripled since the introduction of the new ballinamore.ie due to its ease of navigation, rich content and excellent calendar functionality. We are indebted to the Leitrim Development Company for the funding but also for the fantastic help they gave us to get this project to its fruition".
