Leitrim Design House

The Leitrim Design House is a permanent showcase of local products located in the Dock Arts Centre in the heart of Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim. This community social enterprise promotes and sells high quality innovative contemporary craft through the flagship gallery providing a perfect promotional opportunity for small creative businesses to achieve economic growth with increased sales and market opportunities. The Design House is a landmark tourist attraction and attracts substantial visitor numbers. Rural Development (LEADER) funding from Leitrim Development Company made it possible to transform the gallery into a modern state of the art show room highlighting the wonderful work produced within the county. The refurbished showroom space is home to over two hundred artist working with wood, glass, metal, ceramic, and textile.
