Community/Scout Facility at Ballinamore

This project received LEADER funding to develop showers, restrooms, kitchenette, assembly area plus office and project room adjacent to the existing Sports Hall as a community scout den. This facility is managed by Ballinamore Area Community Council (who manage the sports hall) in conjunction with the local scout organisation.The facility was designed to compliment the existing sports hall and St. Felim's sports field. The Ballinamore Scouts had no meeting place of their own and relied on the sports hall being vacant in order to hold their meetings/gatherings. The funding allowed for the development of facilities which are now available to the Scouts and the wider community that use the sports hall and the sports field at St. Felims.
