An online competition to recruit 4,660 census enumerators for Census 2016 will open on Tuesday, January 5th 2016 at 9am and will close on Friday, January 8th at 5pm. It will close sooner if the number of applications reaches 15,000 so it is advised to apply early once the online application becomes available. See http://census.ie/ for more info.

Leitrim Development Company organised a Lifelong Learning Seminar on Monday just gone by. Over 200 people attended the event in the Bush Hotel. We had two fantastic speakers who spoke on their lifelong learning journeys and how learning can be pursued throughout life.
