About the Course
This is a full-time course in Horticulture (with Eco-Tourism) which will commence on the
06th March 2017 in Lough Allen Centre, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. The course will run for 34 weeks and participants will gain a Major Award at QQI Level 4 upon successful completion. The course is a SOLAS funded Local Training Initiative managed by Leitrim Development Company.
Who is the course for?
The course is for unemployed people and is ideally suited to individuals who are considering embarking on a career in horticulture and wish to obtain a recognised qualification.

- Establishing Ornamental Flowering Plants
- Growing Fruit
- Growing Vegetables
- Horticultural Tools and Equipment
- Work Experience
- Safe Horticultural Practice
- Plan Identification, Care and Maintenance
